Soar Like an Eagle

It's National Bird Day! My husband and I are avid birders, and we've seen many species. It's hard for me to pick a favorite. I love the elegant Tundra Swan, the colorful Painted Bunting, and the comical-looking Horned Puffin.

Eagles, however, soar above all others, both Bald and Golden. They look so majestic, floating on the breeze as free as they please. Sometimes when I see an eagle soaring above, I close my eyes and try to imagine what it would feel like to fly above the clouds and look at the world through the eagle-eyes of a raptor.

If I could shift into any animal, it would be a Golden Eagle. That is the main reason Craig Aquila, a raptor shifter in my Enigma, Maine series, takes the form of a Golden Eagle when he shifts. Check out his story and go along for the ride as he ascends the height of passion with the mate of his heart and soul in Eagle's Embrace a part of the Enigma, Maine Bundle Three.
