October brings a delicious chill, not just in the air, but in the stories I love to tell! I've always been drawn to romance laced with suspense. There's just something about that heart-pounding mixture of love and danger. Maybe it's the thrill of not knowing wheat's around the corner, or the way two hearts grow closer when facing the unknown together.

As I write, I picture those dark small-town streets, the flicker of porch lights, and the secrets that linger just out of sight. Autumn's darker edges remind me that even in the shadows, love finds a way to shine! So this spooky season, I'll be curled up with tea and at least one of my cats dreaming up twists and turns that keep my characters and readers on their toes!
